Our Distribution Business Unit in Europe consists of a distributor and dealer support network. They deliver reliable sales and service of durable and high performing engine, generator set and aftermarket products to our regionally based (global) partners. This is an exciting opportunity in Wellingborough for a Regional Business Process Specialist, who will support broad range of IT business analysis activities for the supply chain.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

  • Act as an intermediary between the business and IT to facilitate the communication;

  • Partner with business functions to define, determine, analyze, document and communicate the objectives, business requirements and priorities for information systems and solutions;

  • Work with application and technical experts on the solution design, implementation, support, maintenance and enhancement of the IT systems;

  • Participate in local and global business initiatives, including project definition and documentation;

  • Elicit, analyze and document non-functional and functional business requirements across the five aspects (process, information, event, socio-political, and location), as appropriate for the initiative;

  • Conduct requirements management activities as necessary;

  • Assist in solution assessment and validation to ensure that all specification meet the identified business needs;

  • Review test plans and testing methodology and participate in testing the solution to ensure that functional and technical specifications are met;

  • Develop positive relationships with both the business and other functions involved in downstream technical processes;

  • Effective cooperation with internal and external Cummins stakeholders.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant work experience;

  • Knowledge of business analysis planning and monitoring approach;

  • Experienced in working with multiple ERP systems, preferably at the same time;

  • Excellent customer approach, ability to drive consensus for meeting business objectives and solving problems;

  • Effective communicator with requirement elicitation skills, able to uncover needs of business partners and end users;

  • Capable of prioritizing and organizing all requirements;

  • Working knowledge of IT solution assessment and validation.

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Business or a related subject required.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Basic Salary: £24,200– £27,200

  • Defined contribution pension scheme - company contributions up to 9%

  • Annual bonus plan - target 8% (based upon company performance)
