We are looking for an enthusiastic Placement Student to join our team specializing in Sales Operations for Power Generation Segment, working remotely. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Manage the pricing and discount inquiries for the European Sales Team.

  • Support Sales and Sales Operation Teams in the entry, analysis and visualization of the data from various system including Customer Relationship Management (Salesforce).

  • Manage and control the flow of critical pieces of business information, such as equipment availability lists, both within the company and with external customers.

  • Support Sales Operations with sales analytics and reporting through utilization of Cummins tools and processes for the Sales Representatives, Management, and the Leadership.

  • Support and manage process improvement projects as required by stakeholders. Take part in the change and transition management when implementing the projects.

  • Work with Sales Management, Field Sales or Functional Excellence teams to identify and assess product offerings, market opportunities, project planning, and competitive analysis.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Working towards a degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Data Science or related disciplines

  • Proficiency in various tools, especially Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Power BI and Salesforce is desired but not required.

  • Have the ability to analyse the data and present the results to different stakeholders

  • Have strong attention to details and be proactive in delivery of your work
