In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Reporting into the Marketing Intelligence Manager you will have an autonomous yet highly collaborative role working closely with Commercial and Sales leaders, along with your peers in Product and Supply demand planning. Developing Market Intelligence across North America, EMEA, China and APAC, the key aspects of your role will be:
Conducting market research and analysis to identify segment trends, market opportunities, macro indicators, and competitive threats.
Analyzing data and prepare reports on market trends, customer behavior, and industry developments.
Identifying key competitors and their strategies and provide recommendations to gain competitive advantage.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
Support Market Intelligence Manager and senior business leaders to chart out long term business and segment level strategy (5, 10, 20 years ahead).
This is a hybrid role based in Peterborough, with a minimum of 2 days a week onsite.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have a background in market research data analysis, ideally within a manufacturing environment. You will enjoy building relationships and resolving problems in close collaboration with others. You will also have:
A commercial mindset, with an understanding of Demand Management.
Experience of interpreting and communicating qualitative and quantitative data that enable data driven business decisions.
Awareness of the need to research information using meaningful and valid sources and data to expand your knowledge of markets.
Advanced Excel and Statistical skills (SPSS or Minitab), ideally with experience across data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, as well as potentially coding skills in R, Python, SQL.
A relevant degree in for example Ecommerce, Business, Math and/or potentially an MBA.
You will be rewarded with:
£44,800 - £56,000 - Dependent of experience
