This is a very exciting opportunity at our new shared service center in Peterborough for an Order Processing Expert who will act as the team’s Super User to support Order Processors.

You will be joining a brand new, diverse team of professionals during a very exciting time for the business. This role is perfect for you if you are highly analytical and data driven, with previous experience working in an order management or supply chain environment. As this is a new service center, there will be endless opportunities for professional progression, whether that means managing your own team one day or developing your knowledge by working across different functions.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

Responsible for supporting the Shared Service team members with processing order queries/escalation requirements to ensure orders are shipped to agreed deadline.

Utilise order systems and dashboards to prioritise order queries and support team members to resolve all outstanding issues.

Own and resolve complex internal stakeholder inquiries through extensive research and your own detailed understanding of processes, systems, and practices

Provide timely and informative responses as per the Service Level Agreement.

Collaborate with the Team Leader for complex escalations/issues providing documentation throughout the process.

Acts as a systems and process Super User to train and mentor team members.

Identify system enhancements to benefit team members and improve business processes

Collaborate with the system design team in enhancement design process

Conduct User Acceptance Testing for the team.

Create and distribute standard and customized internal reports

Analyse data to identify trends.

Understand departmental policies, procedures and metrics.


Qualifications & Experience

To be a success in this role you will need:

Existing experience in either order management, account management or in the supply chain field.

Proven track record of working in a fast paced, high volume order management/ supply chain environment.

Experience with acting as a process and IT systems Super User to train and mentor team members.

Experience with Oracle, SAP, bespoke Order Management Systems or a similar ERP package would be an advantage.

To be systems savvy and adept at learning new systems and processes quickly.

Ability to confidently navigate computerized order management and analytics systems.

To be an advocate for change and share your ideas in how we can streamline process and procedures.

To be data driven with exceptional analytical skills to solve problems and draw meaningful conclusions.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary up to £26,000 depending on experience.

4% variable bonus (paid annually based on company performance).

Contributions towards private healthcare.

Pension (Cummins contributions up to 7%).

25 days holiday plus statutory holidays..
