Key Account and Regional Sales Manager
We are looking for a consultative Key Account and Regional Sales Manager who is driven by developing customer relationships and focused on solutions based sales. Managing a valued portfolio of key accounts in the UK and Northern Ireland, this position sits within our power systems business unit, based from Peterborough with some national travel expected.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Improve understanding of customer needs and priorities to create opportunities to increase sales by identifying and presenting appropriate Cummins solutions with a focus on value proposition.
Grow and establish positive customer relations in existing accounts. Utilize customer satisfaction tools to measure satisfaction and create action plans for improvement where necessary.
Guide and coordinate all communication and interfaces with the customer at all levels.
Support in the negotiation and implementation of contracts, including payment terms and accounts receivable deliverables.
Report activity via the Customer Relationship Management tool per management direction. Produces sales forecasts as directed.
Support in the evaluation of your assigned territory to identify key areas of opportunities, in order to priorities activities in tendering for and securing future PowerGen projects.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
An engineering background is strongly preferred, or existing account management experience within the PowerGen industry.
Must be willing to travel up to 30% (some international travel maybe required on an adhoc basis)
Natural rapport building skills with a desire to attain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Commercially aware with a genuine passion for the industry and the brand, growing the market share and increasing Cummins presence.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary between £39,000– £44,400 depending on experience.
Defined contribution pension scheme (up to 9%)
Annual bonus plan - target 8% (based upon company performance)
