HR Business Partner

We are seeking a talented HR Business Partner to join our Cummins Generator Technologies team in Peterborough, working in a fast-paced unionized environment. The role is classed as Hybrid and required to work on site 3 days per week as a minimum.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways;

  • Lead a broad range of human resource processes and is responsible for overall operational effectiveness and compliance with company policies and applicable legislation.

  • Establish strategies with business leaders to select and retain the diverse talent required to maintain a competitive advantage and to align with recruiting strategies.

  • Resolve conflicts and provides coaching and counselling on human resources matters for functional or organizational leadership.

  • Communicate and consult on all areas of human resources including compensation, benefits, staffing, organizational development, employee relations, and performance management in alignment with common human resources strategies and processes.

  • Measure and analyse key performance indicators to deliver functional and business performance improvements related to human resource investments.

  • Collaborate with business leadership to translate current and future business goals and develops initiatives and tactics to meet business objectives in alignment with overall human resource strategies and processes.

Qualifications

To be a success in this role you will need;

  • Degree qualified in HR with an understanding of business and financial reporting - CIPD qualified Level 7 required.

  • Extensive experience of working in a unionized environment

  • Strong Employee Relations background including demonstrable experience in negotiating with Trade Unions

  • Previous experience of leading and or mentoring a HR team

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary depending on experience: £64,800 - £81,000

  • Defined contribution pension scheme - company contributions up to 9%
