This is an exciting opportunity in Peterborough for a Global Finance Manager. You will be responsible for responsible for the continuous development of the finance team, managing 3 direct reports, improving partnering capabilities globally, enforcing a robust controls environment and be the lead entity controller for the UK.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

  • Lead the global finance team: working with a team of 5, with 3 direct reports (FP&A Manager, Global Supply Chain Finance Analyst and Global Engineering Finance Analyst)

  • Ensure robust global forecast and annual plan.

  • Responsible for leading the development and preparation of financial analysis and evaluating financial plans and budgets for the global business.

  • Ensuring key projects are delivered on time

  • Support the FP&A Director with global deployment of Oracle and embedding new capabilities within the global finance function.

  • Controller for UK legal entity

  • Business partnering with global supply sites, sales, finance, supply chain, engineering, and general managers.

  • Analyzing financial data by evaluating results and solutions to support business decisions.

  • Utilizes financial forecast data to provide forward looking projections to facilitate decision making

  • Interprets financial data by analyzing trends, variances, opportunities and risks to provide insight to stakeholders regarding financial impact to drive business improvement

  • Designs, develop and manage strategic financial analysis projects as necessary

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Leadership, coaching and management experience

  • Change management experience (improving processes and controls to ensure a robust and stabilized function)

  • Exceptional business partnering.

  • Transformation and project experience

  • Analytical skills

  • Excellent communication, presentation and the ability to challenge

  • International experience would be beneficial

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

  • ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified
