This is an exciting opportunity in Milton Keynes for a Validation Engineer.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:
By holding responsibility for the overall management of a reliability program across the new product development cycle, including the planning, implementing, tracking, reporting, and closure of the reliability program
Helping the program to balance the Cost/Quality/Delivery triangle
Applying specialized knowledge of statistical and reliability tools to analyze and report on component or system reliability
By working to ensure products meet reliability targets, including
new product reliability assurance,
parenting and reliability improvement plans,
design failure modes and effects analysis,
design verification planning and reporting,
failure reporting and corrective action systems,
new product reliability assessments
Skills and Experience Required:
Experience and knowledge in electrical, e-machines, HV batteries parts and systems control, safety, verification and validation processes
Knowledge & understanding of appropriate automotive safety and functional regulations including ECE, SAE, UN, BS and other standards.
Knowledge of battery testing procedures (End of Line, functional and safety) for automotive applications
Experience and knowledge in creation of and input to DFMEA, PFMEA, corrective actions and measures
Understanding of electrical components, and their function, calculations including tolerance, cost, weight, specification of materials and joining technologies
Required Education, Licenses or Certifications
- College, University, or equivalent degree in Engineering required. Advanced degrees are a benefit.
Compensation and Benefits
In return we can offer a salary between £37,351 - £54,010 (dependent onexperience).
