This is an exciting opportunity in Milton Keynes for a Product Engineer.

Cummins Electrified Power are a leading provider offlexible battery solutions for demanding automotive and powerapplications .

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

  • By setting and tracking the critical parameters of a project

  • By providing input and documenting the DFMEA process

  • By applying your specialist knowledge of engineering principles across full product lifecycle

  • By evaluating customer requirements and working with internal stakeholders to establish timelines, parameters and project plans.

  • By working effectively with cross-functional disciplines to achieve desired outcome

Qualifications

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Ideally experience and knowledge of electrical, e-machines, HV batteries parts and systems for automotive applications

  • Experience in electrical, e-machines, HV batteries parts and systems verification and validation processes

  • Experience and knowledge in creation of and input to FMEA & DVP

  • Knowledge of battery testing procedures (End of Line, functional and safety) for automotive applications

  • Knowledge & understanding of appropriate automotive safety regulations including ECE & SAE standards.

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

  • PhD, Masters of Science, Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in engineering required.

Compensation and Benefits

In return we can offer a salary between £37,351 - £54,010 (dependent onexperience).
