Service Team Leader - Leeds

We are currently seeking a talented Service Team Leader to join the Cummins team based in Leeds, the primary area of responsibility will be Aftermarket Power Generation Segment, leading the day-to-day service operations team.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways;

  • Supervise Service Technicians and/or Service Team, coordinate and schedule Technician work schedules and communicate repair plans to Technicians aligned with customer quotes whilst monitoring Technician productivity and repair quality.

  • Provide coaching and feedback to individual Service Technicians and/or Service Team, provide performance reviews and opportunities for professional growth.

  • Develop and/or review quotes for accuracy prior to communication to customers, providing updates on repair status and any plan or schedule changes.

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities by reviewing, changing, and improving processes in line with changing customer expectations/organizational goals.

  • Monitor goals and targets for the branch. Measure, review, and maintain superior customer satisfaction levels.

  • Resolve customer concerns related to Cummins or distributor warranties, developing strong relationships with key customers through frequent and professional communication.


To be a success in this role you will need;

  • Modern apprenticeship/ City and Guilds or degree qualified in Business Management, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

  • Previous experience of Leading or Managing a team

  • Proven experience in Customer relationship management and service operations

  • Experience from the following industries will be considered: Power Generation, Agricultural, Marine, Mining, Marine or Military Services.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary depending on experience: between £36,240 and £49,830 per annum
