Systems Reliability Engineer

We are looking for a talented Systems Reliability Engineer to join our team specializing in turbo and air systems for our Turbo Technologies Business Segment in Huddersfield.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Managing critical reliability activities within new product development in order to meet customer and business reliability expectations

  • Executing and facilitating activities needed to prevent and detect failures and improve reliability

  • Establishing, maintaining and continuously improving common, global tools and methods used to assess and improve product reliability

  • Obtaining input and negotiating with new product technical and core teams, delivering plans to meet critical reliability deliverables to new product development leadership

  • Making decisions in the areas of product problem prevention, detection and correction that impact overall new product reliability

  • Applying and improving processes such as quantitative reliability analysis and failure reporting and corrective action systems and tools required to support the processes and enable high quality decision making

  • Delivering independent execution of established and emerging work processes and systems while still developing technology or product knowledge


To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Previous experience in the automotive/engineering industry or similar would be preferred

  • Solid understanding of air/turbo systems or diesel engine design would be advantageous

  • Previous exposure to tools such as Wyevole and PlusPlus or similar

  • Experience of working on regional or global projects is nice to have but not essential

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary between £35500-£44400

  • Defined contribution pension scheme - company contributions up to 9%

  • Annual bonus plan - target 8% (based upon company performance)
