This is an exciting opportunity within the turbocharger business in Huddersfield, UK for a Senior Applications Engineer

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

  • The position offers multiple opportunities for the applications engineer to apply their knowledge and skills to a variety of situations on a customer account where we need to both defend existing business and win new business

  • The work is largely varied and contains a strong mix of pre-VPI, VPI, aftermarket, service based support and process improvement.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience of juggling multiple priorities

  • Proven track record of successful problem solving

  • Experience leading a project to completion

  • Experience of dealing with ambiguity and applying independent thinking

  • Networking at multiple levels within a company

  • Applying logical reasoning to new situations under pressure

  • Challenging the way we work to achieve better results

  • flexibility to travel is also needed;

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

  • College, University or equivalent Bachelor`s degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required.

Compensation and Benefits

In return we can offer a salary of between£41903 to £47694depending on experienceand an excellent benefits package
