_ This is an exciting opportunity in Huddersfield for a Mechatronics Engineer._
* Cummins Turbo Technologies* , is where you can work on industry leading engineering projects delivering specialist components globally, such as the development of embedded electronic products to drive variable geometry turbos, electronic waste gate turbos and electronic throttle valves.

By working effectively with both internal and external customers / stakeholders, and suppliers.
By authoring independent system tests / software requirements in order for our global test teams to validate the software to ISO 16949 certification standards
By gathering and understanding internal & external customer requirements, and then creating requirements gap analysis.
Troubleshooting engine systems issues and driving root cause analysis in relation to actuator controls.
Developing and working through actuator FMEAs and DVPRs
By actively working with software, electrical and mechanical development teams towards the mutually agreed solution
* Skills and Experience Required *
A working knowledge of embedded systems.
A working knowledge of electrical engineering
Ideally you will have worked previously with motors / gears. Or have an understanding of the mechanical principles of motors / gears.
You will have worked with multi-discipline teams previously.
* Education, Licenses, Certifications *
College, University, or equivalent degree in Engineering required. Advanced degrees are preferred.
* In return we can offer a salary between £36000 and £45000 (dependent on experience). *
