This is an exciting opportunity in Huddersfield for a Manufacturing Engineer - Aftermarket.
Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:
By assisting with planning, design, purchase and/or implementation of integrated manufacturing, assembly or fabrication processes in a manufacturing plant;
By working with engineering to identify problems with product and performance;
By working to improve equipment capability by utilizing continuous improvement tools and working cross functionally;
By supporting teams in both functional & operational areas;
By providing functional, cost effective and innovative fixtures, work holding, tooling & gaugingutilize fail-safe techniques as an integral element.
Skills and Experience Required:
Good understanding of manufacturing engineering;
Experience in machine programming;
IT skills: Excel, EASE;
Applying problem solving tools such as FMEA, 7 Step, KAIZEN;
Hands on experience needed;
Minimum level of relevant work experience required;
Flexibility to travel is also needed;
Required Education, Licenses or Certifications
- College, University or equivalent Bachelor`s degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required.
Compensation and Benefits
In return we can offer a salary of between£34,257 to £39,743 depending on experienceand an excellent benefits package.
