This is an exciting opportunity in Huddersfield for an Engineering Training and Talent Development Leader on a fixed term contract up to 12 months.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

  • Owning and Managing entry level talent pipelines covering work experience, apprentices, student placements and graduates

  • Recruiting, Selecting and Developing Entry Level Talent - including assessment days, training plans, rotation plans, review processes, sponsorship and development experiences

  • Owning the Technical training processes for UK and US Engineers – identifying training requirements, developing and managing regional training calendars and analysing associated metrics

  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet customer standards and expectations for all streams of work

  • Work across multiple teams to ensure all processes for entry level talent and technical training are planned efficiently


Skills and Experience Required:

  • Knowledge of new apprenticeship standards would be an advantage

  • Similar experience of managing recruitment, training and development would be preferred

  • Strong organisational skills and an effective communicator

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

  • Ideally degree qualified, although not essential.

Compensation and Benefits

In return we can offer a salary of £34,257 - £39,743 (dependant on experience)
