We are looking for a fully qualified Senior Financial Analyst to join our team specializing in Planning, Forecasting and Reporting for our Power Systems Business Segment in Daventry. This will be a great opportunity for a talented Finance Specialist to make a big impact on the long-term strategy and operations of Cummins on a local and regional scale.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Being responsible for the preparation of complex and interpretive financial analyses and reports

  • Supporting the annual budget process, expense and KPI reporting

  • Supporting monthly forecast processes and comparison to targets

  • Support monthly close processes with analysis of sales, margins and related entries

  • Preparing complex financial analyses and reports for department management

  • Preparing analyses and recommendations for management in respect of cost saving initiatives and financial investments

  • Business partnering with organizational unit(s) to develop annual budgets, expense forecasts, and statistical reporting

  • Preparing and consolidating financial data statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis

  • Coaching or mentoring less-experienced Financial Analysts

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Fully qualified in ACA/ACCA/CIMA

  • Strong experience with core accounting and finance responsibilities – a focus on forecasting is beneficial

  • High proficiency level in Excel – Power Pivot/Power Query skills would be a bonus

  • Team player, adapting to a fast paced business

  • Strong communication skills required – you will be interacting with the wider business

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary between £39901-£48900

  • Defined contribution pension scheme - company contributions up to 9%
