We are looking for an enthusiastic RePower Senior Product Engineer to join our Product Design team specialising in Engineering Plant Support in our Power Systems Business Unit in Daventry, United Kingdom / Your remote home office. During your returnship with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Leading investigation work and working with various subject matter experts globally to form quick solutions to ensure product leaves site to quality and engineering standards and on time.

  • Although mainly a rapid response team, you will lead long term projects (ECR - Engineering Change requests).

  • Investigate solutions, lead design reviews, analysis work, and see your solutions implemented on the lines.

  • Assist the team to keep the manufacturing lines running by providing rapid response to engineering line stopping issues e.g., fit checks, part quality issues, process documentation, hands on solutions.

  • Work cross functionally across these functions: Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Materials etc.

  • Getting involved in some tasks across all manufacturing lines including Blockline, Engine and Genset assembly, Cylinder head, Engine and Genset test.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making.

  • Experience working within functions/roles that have provided broad experience of powertrain systems.

  • Ability to clearly communicate the appropriate level of technical information/issues/proposals with peers.

  • College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or appropriate STEM field

NB: This role is hybrid – however, more time will be spent onsite due to the nature of the role.
