We are looking for an experienced Facilities Associate - Electrical Systems to join our team specializing in Facilities for our Power Systems Business Segment in Daventry.

This is a Permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week. Day shift, Monday – Friday.

Salary is £37,000 plus company performance bonus.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Manages construction and facility projects including design development, contractors, project pricing, planning, scheduling, ordering and tracking.

  • Initiates communication to consult with electrical, structural, mechanical contract engineers to develop construction projects.

  • Develops project requirements based on the needs of the facility, including space allocations, infrastructural needs, etc.

  • Ensures that projects and facilities meet state and local building codes.

  • Directs updates to the building drawings as needed.

  • Maintains safe and effective electrical, facilities and building systems.

  • Performs problem solving, creative technical and analytical work, budget management and hands on applications.

  • Manages own work and maintains a flexible schedule to meet the demands of priority work.

  • Monitors ongoing testing, inspection and remedials to ensure legal compliance.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint etc.

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification.

Advantageous experience and qualifications:

  • Knowledge of drafting AutoCAD or equivalent program for updating and creating layouts and designs.

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

  • Electrical Inspection & Testing.

  • Awareness/experience of High Voltage systems.
