Diagnostics Technical Specialist
We are seeking a Diagnostics Technical Specialist to join the Product Compliance & Regulatory Affairs team in Darlington. The role is classed as “Hybrid”, you will be required to work onsite at Darlington 10-20% of the time, depending on business needs.
Required to be the diagnostics lead on new products developed and certified to meet current and future European emission and diagnostics regulations.
Your impact will be seen in these and other ways;
Plan and execute diagnostics development, testing and validation for new product for European region
Develop diagnostics certification plans through interaction and negotiation with internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies, work with Darlington technical organization to ensure successful implementation of these plans
Act as focal point during discussions with internal and external stakeholders on diagnostics certification and compliance
Support product development teams with guidance and information on Diagnostics regulatory requirements to facilitate the effective development of products to achieve product compliance
Lead and support problem solving initiatives to provide resolution for diagnostic issues and recommend appropriate actions
Qualifications
To be a success in this role you will need;
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other relevant technical disciplines
Previous experience of Matlab and Simulink is essential
Awareness of European On-highway, Non-Road diagnostics requirements.
Knowledge of diagnostics certification and compliance regulations applicable to Europe.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary depending on experience: £48,000- £58,000
