This is an exciting opportunity in Darlington for a Supply Chain Team Leader.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

  • Provide excellent Customer Service to our global customer base

  • Manage the daily operational processes for a critical segment of the supply chain & eliminate potential supply chain failures as part of the daily order management and forecast process

  • Achieve & manage the timely procurement of Engines from a global supply base through various logistic routes.

  • Provide excellent customer support with through global visits and updates on business performance.

  • Analyze and interpret KPIs to identify areas for improvement and action plans for internal and external customers.

  • Lead, manage and direct a Customer Service team and support to oversee the department activities.

  • Liaise with functional stakeholders to mitigate mid-term supplier or customer constraints


Skills and Experience Required:

  • Excellent Customer Service/ Account Management skills ideally within a manufacturing environment

  • Excellent (written and verbal) communication skills.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Excel and Power point.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing data analysis tools and techniques would be an advantage

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related discipline

Compensation and Benefits

Salary £33,000 - £37,000
